i ordered shoes last friday and the seller doesnt ship it yet. he uses lame excuses like tomorrow or i did ship but it wont show up, or i'll tracking number when i get home. item was bought through ebay. is he trying to scam me in some way?

How many days did his posting say he would ship? If it's beyond that and you have tried to get him to ship, you now file an Item Not Received dispute with ebay. Do not talk to the seller anymore. If the listing said the item ships in 2-3 days and it's now been a week and hasn't shipped then file a dispute. As long as you do this, if he doesn't ship right away Ebay will refund your money

So complain to e-bay.

In a case like this, file an item not received case once the due date passes on the purchase.

Normally it's best to be patient as the USPS in particular can be quirky about shipping - but when the seller won't post the tracking, give them a well deserved defect and run them off eBay.

It's sellers like this that give hard working sellers such as myself a bad name, and in return eBay is making us all suffer due to these deadbeats.

If you don't receive the item within the specified time on the item's page, and you lose patience, tell him you would like your money back, then cancel the transaction afterwards. If he won't return your money, report him to eBay.
