Do I need a License?

i would imagine so because these are major brands and you stand out like a soar thumb for all we know your selling fakes which is illegal and the city is going to be watching you.But on the other hand you can legally sell anything you want and dont need any contract based on fair trade or whatever its called. My experience in copyright laws is that the company that sells clothes doesnt have any right to withhold you from selling there product because when they sell to you they lose rights and give a right for you in the free market to sell the specimen which is not protected to a point. If you were to go wholesale with these products and buy wholesale from these companys then you will need to file for wholesale tax permit! in the state you are and file for tax permits.

sorry; per hour of time investment, you are losing more $ than you will ever earn. THERE is no way you can out sell retail botiques

at flea markets

Hello, I have a question. I have a sellers permit and I am going to get my business license. I sell at the flea market, and I sell authentic designer bags however I do not have a contract with the immediate companies who design these handbags. My question is: Do you need to have a contract or get a license from these companies? I was told that I could not continue selling these purses because I do not have a license with them. For an example, I sell Liz Claiborne; a brand you could find at Macys and also, I sell inflatable figures that are dora, ninja turtles, and spongebob. Would I need to get a license listed on your website or would I have to contact them directly?
