Questions about eBay?

I might sound stupid but then for someone whos never sold anything on it then I don't think i am. I'm going to sell an Xbox 360 does this mean I need to take it to my local post office and get it weighed to determine what sort of packaging it needs? Or if not how do I package it? What about stamps? When I buy something online they don't have those tiny stamps they have big stickers saying delivered by Royal Mail and the address it's being delivered to where do I get those at? I know I probably do sound quite stupid but I know nothing about selling on eBay thank you.

Since an Xbox has been sold before on Ebay, they normally already know the weight of one, and auto recommend the shipping price for it. Just package it in any box you have lying around, that doesn't have any writing or old labels still on it, and isn't a priority mail box (if you aren't shipping it priority they won't accept it). Make sure it's padded well and won't jostle around in the box.

No stamps are needed, you pay for the shipping through paypal, and they provide you with a shipping label you simply need to print and tape on the package.

The labels instead of stamps is usually done at the post office, they print a stamp for it . Or the cheaper way to send it is use a company like myhermes.co.uk and you print your own label after paying for them to collect it, they are very cheap btw

You can go on the Royal Mail site...if you are in the U.K. and sort out the postage from home...when you set up your ebay account only sell to people in your own country as this makes it easier to sort out the postage etc.

How about reading ebay's guidelines for new sellers...? Masses of info there.
