Really consider not having children in the bakery. There are too many ways to get them injured with ovens and knifes if they are young. Dealing with food you want to make the customers think things are clean and children get runny noses and if customers think you might be caring for them while working it might gross them out. If your daughters are teens you can have a couple of tables for customers to eat in the lobby where your kids could wait for you.

I've had a dream of opening my own bakery for a while now, but now that I'm actually at the point of opening it, I have now clue! I plan to sell all sorts of southern sweets like pie, cobblers, and cakes and want to devote a small area to my daughters who love to read and draw. Thanks!
