Stick to plan A and sell it local pickup only with spot cash on craigslist. Tell the woman those are the terms of the sale and if she can find someone local to pick it up from you and ship it to her, she's more than welcome.
You can look at craigslist ads from all over the country.
But I have sold a lot of things on craigslist and would never ship anything to anyone. What if she "says" it arrived and was broken, or didn't work, and wants her money back.
Always, always, deal with local buyers.
If she pays upfront (wait for cheques to clear) then it is legit.
do, I listed a lamp on craigslist and i got an email from a lady who said she wants the lamp9she couldnt find that kind of lamp anywhere) but needs shipping since she lives far away. I disagreed to it first but then brought up the idea of ebay. She agreed to pay the shipping as well. Do you feel like shes scamming me for something? It feels safe but im having small doubts since idk how she found out about this lamp in craigslist since shes from a different city than mine.
