It's good that you like their product, though. Make sure you work at a place where you can be proud to say, "I serve this, and it's better than the competitors. I can make this, and give you better service than the competitors." That's a good job worth keeping till you're ready for a career.

Just ask if they are "accepting applications" there 's a much better chance of actually speaking with the owner on your first visit there so be prepared for a mini interview, the classic doughnut shop has a very late-early shift when the baking is done, know whether you would be available for that, though it's not as entry level a position as a clerk.
So there is this donut shop by my place and it's really tiny and im not sure if i can apply to it like how i would apply to Mcdonalds or Tacobell. It's not really that popular but they have amazing donuts! i want to work there but i do not know if they will hire people like how other restaurants and stores would. can someone tell me if i can apply to small places like that ?
