Norway has been very prudent and careful managing her oil revenues. I think it will be a long, long time before they need to support their economy by resorting to their traditional income generation methods involving the use of longships and funny helmets.

If all else fails, there are a lot of people in England who would vote in a referendum to dump Scotland and accept Norway into the UK instead :-)

what will happen to all of us without it at least Norway is using the profit wisely Britain had oil and gas in the north sea we haven't a penny to show for it squandered the lot

We'll find other things to invest in, like thorium, tourism, technology (a lot of T's!).
