Claim please help!?

I bought something on eBay using paypal it was a Louis Vuitton bag and she scammed me and sent me a fake bag. I filed a dispute through paypal and got my money refunded back to me. Now the seller filed a claim with the USPS. A letter came to my house saying in response to the claim filed please present the mailing container wrapping and packaging with any other contents recieved along with this letter to a post office inspection if the evidence of damage is not avaible for inspection, your claim may be denied. I already sent her back her fake purse and paypal closed the case , what do I do now? Can I avoid this? What type of material can I present to the usps if I sent back the iteims?

This person is trying to scam you through USPS. Respond back to the USPS letter explaining what happened and that you were scammed and returned the fake item.

Go to the post office with evidence you have - copies of messages, any shipping receipts, tracking numbers, etc as proof you already returned the item to the seller

Sounds like the seller is trying to defraud the USPS also. I would ignore anything received about the counterfeit bag.

YOU are not making a USPS claim, this is attempted fraud on the part of the sender. send a letter to USPS explaining the situation.

YOU don't have to do anything at all. I would bin the letter.
