In PA, where I live, it's free at most banks. I used to work at TD Bank, and we notarized documents for anyone who walked through the door with proper ID, customer or not.
Last time I got a document notarized it was at city hall and cost me $0.
Depends upon the notary, where you are located, and (in some instances) the document that is being notarized. Estimate between $10 and $25.
In California it's about $10 to $20. Most other places it's a lot less. A bank or lawyer's or real estate agent's office will often do it for free if you're a customer of theirs.
