20-30 dollars. The more skilled you are the more valuable you are to an employer
It depends on the field you are in and what you want to make. A good rule of thumb is to take your hourly wage and multiply it by 2000. That is approximately how many hours you will work a full time job in a year and what you will make at the end of the year before taxes, etc.
Maybe tell us what job you are referring to and what the skills set requirements are
Obviously low skilled jobs will have lower hourly rates than highly skilled jobs
Anything over NMW is decent if it is a low skilled job
About 20 is starting to be decent and livable for an adult that is around 40K a year.
