Well.....Here goes. Years ago I went to a stationary store checking out some paper. Found some that felt PERFECT for money and looked at it. Very basic, but it FELT like money did (Fresh print) Now I never went further, but you "Feasibly" could buy some (Kind of spendy now I'd bet) and hook it up to a printer/computer and then play with it.
But realize that this IS illegal and can carry many years in prison, PLUS if you do get caught and don't get jail time, you still have a FELONY on your record and believe me, from what I am seeing of people with felonies, you're not going to be working for any upscale (Or even low scale) employers....
How much money are you willing to put into this effort. You would be doing a lot of testing, and would need to make a lot of designs, refining them as you went along, trying not to get caught, too. Maybe $10,000? You would then need to buy perhaps $20,000 worth of junk food from vending machines to make it all worthwhile.
You could cut your costs immensely and improve your health by buying only $200 worth of junk food with genuine money.
That is fraud, you could get caught, and I think machines nowadays are getting smarter to where they recognize what is real and fake. Why go through all that trouble....when drilling a hole in a quarter with string is so much easier?

It's called counterfeiting, and the government will provide you with free room and board for an extended period once they catch up with you. It's virtually impossible to not leave some kind of trace evidence.
