What's the difference between the UPS and the USPS?

UPS - United Parcel Service - the big brown trucks. It's a private company

USPS - United States Postal Service - the little white trucks that drop mail in your mailbox. It's run by the goverment.

This is also a good time to point out that the private company is profitable....the government run organization has been hemorrhaging for years.

They're different companies. UPS is United Parcel Service, a private company (the brown trucks you see everywhere).

USPS is the United States Postal Service. They're your local mail carrier. For more info:

UPS is a private company, USPS is run by the government.

The names, UPS (United postal Service) USPS (Unites States Postal service)

I order a lot online, and this is the first time me ordering from ULTA, and i tracked the package, and it says it's being delivered through the UPS. What's the difference between that and the USPS? ... I've never received a package through the UPS...
