What is a good salary in the uk?

wow your salary increases by £1m per annum, i hope your not a banker if not people will be outraged, an i would be very worried about your arithmetic ... average salary in the UK is between 20-30k per year, most new uni graduates depending on their degree start at the lower point of this average. It also depends where you live as well. Salary's in London will be better than those in the north. Most people live to their limits anyway so even if you were earning more you would spend more, better car, house, gifts for family, friends, GF etc. ... going off on a tangent anyway, you are in the higher area of the average so be happy :)

26k a year is £500 per week. That is good money. If you work there 5 years, it will be almost £600 per week. 10 years, almost £700. I don't think you can complain about that salary. Sounds like you have found an excellent job.

That is a good starting salary.

26k is more than enough

Just for opinions as it satnds just now i am earning 26k per annum which progresses on yearl incriments by 1000k every year and provides a final salary pensions scheme. I am a uni graduate.
