Popular small towns? How would you rate popular. If it where popular and people moved there then it would not be a "small" town. Also what is your definition of "small town"? I think any town with less then 5000 people is small. I grew up in a town with 1500, so my definition of small may be different than yours.
Also, would a small town in a large (populated) county be ok? There are some small towns in Harris county.
So what all this means is we need more info.
The most "popular" small town I would guess is Luckenbach, population 3.
Watch the movie "The Rookie" and whatever the heck that town was move there. I think its called Big Lake or something which is Ironic since there isn't a Lake.
