So I want to start an online clothing store with my cousin and sister. My sister and cousin had the idea first and told me about it. When they told me about it I was really interested. I told them that I would like to be involved. I am offering money to invest in the buisness to be a partner with a share in the company. They feel that they can do it on there own, but I really think they don't realize how much work and money will have to go into this.
I have been taking the liberty to find manufactures locally and in China to price out inventory. I have contacted graphic designers, called the bank and researched a lot on starting a clothing buisness. Whenever I share this info with them they don't really care and find it annoying when send them emails showing what I have done. They feel that the two of them can do this and if it was just them they will make more money in the long run. My cousin is a YouTuber with over 250,00 subscribers so she would be a big asset to marketing and selling the clothes.
None of us have started anything yet, just talk at the moment. I feel that I could do this on my own, but if a we all 3 worked together we could make this bigger and better with the extra help and cash. What are your thoughts? Should I just start my own thing? I have about $10,000 that I can put towards this (either starting my own or investing in there's). My sister and cousin are thinking it's only going to cost $10,000 to start up, but inventory alone is around $20,000.
