eBay knows you by your computer network IP address, and every computer network has one. You can log in as anyone you want, if someone used that Internet connection and was a scammer - it has "poisoned" that address for everybody else. This is a key problem for people who use wireless hot-spots or public computers such as those found at the library or schools.
Once you log in at such a location, and have entered your information - that's it. You're done. Even when you go somewhere else, as long as you have your account information (eBay / PayPal), you're done.
I created a new ebay account and i had it for about three weeks. Ebay insists that though I've sold nothing, I owe them $180 dollars worth of selling fees and I am not allowed a buying or selling account. They've suspended my account and told me over the phone to 'part ways with ebay' and 'leave ebay's business to others'. A lot of stuff like that. Basically, they won't give my account back. Is there any way that I can make an account incognito, without them knowing that it's me? I know that they're very good at weasling out who's who, since my mother tried to make an account and they associated her with me.
