Maybe she was trying to see you at work in person to determine if what had been said about you the previous week was true.
Whatever it is, it's nice she didn't fire you on the spot but is giving you a chance to redeem yourself.
Like what did you do a week ago to cause the suspension?
She used you , she met her needs, and then she took disciplinarian action and you are just a number .
Like, when I was at work she asked me if I wanted to take a morning shift. I accepted it and came to work the next day... but then after my shift I had to go meet my manager in office and I got a 5 day suspension for an incident that happened a week ago. And I think to myself. Did my manager ask to work the next day so she could suspend me for the next day? Is she really being unfair? Like why didn't she try suspending me last week? Not that I want her to do it, but still, it feels she asked me if I wanna work tomorrow cuz she wanted to suspend me...
