you didn't say why, if it was the result of fraud (ebay type thing) you can contact the post office inspector general and the police at the receiving end. If you act quick enough they may have the time/manpower to set up a sting and catch the person but it's a low priority.
If it's just because you have changed your mind then you are out of luck, the post office is not set up to intercept packages, UPS and FedEx have a reroute feature but you pay extra for that.
Sending the UPS HQ an email or txt message stating you accidentally shipped something. They may (or may not) be able to return your shipped merchandise.
You can't. Once you place your items in the mailbox or hand them to the clerk at the Post Office, they are NO LONGER YOUR PROPERTY and you can't get them back.
does it have a tracking number? if so then you might be able to have it stopped and sent back.
