How do I start a cleaning business?

The first thing you do is write a Business Plan identifying start up costs

They will include tools, machines, materials and premises if you need them

Then there is advertising and marketing which will cost quite a bit

Sadly if you have little cash then you will struggle to get a grant or loan

Both my husband and son have small business and did get a grant from the job centre, but that was because they were unemployed at the time

If you are working then you will be expected to have money to put into any prospective business

Start by approaching your bank and asking them what help they can give you,but they will want to see a Business Plan first

$20,000 and more is always better. There are no grants, there are no grants, there are no grants. Offices are being cleaned by companies right now, of course. Here in San Francisco a huge percentage of those people are union - SEIU. Meaning that you need more than a cleaning business, you need to find clients. Clients who already have the service right now. That's the problem.

Make sure you have good, affordable marketing and management software. You'll want something that will help you reach new customers, handle booking/scheduling, manage client information, track your business' performance, etc.

Hi, I'm from Peterborough I am interested in finding a start up grant or save up cost depending, I am just after some advice on what I will need and what it will cost to start from scratch.

I am looking at starting a cleaning company aimed at small business premises cleaning them on a regular basis. I am currently full time employed but I really want to try to start my own business.

I feel between me and my wife we have the brains and the work ethic to make it work. 1/ How much roughly will it cost to start up? 2/what will I need? 3/I would like a start up loan as I am not to well off and I know there's companys out there that offer this service. Anyone have any experience?

Kind Regards
