Here in San Francisco a huge percentage of those people are union - SEIU. Meaning that you need more than a cleaning business, you need to find clients. Clients who already have the service right now. That's the problem.
Make sure you have good, affordable marketing and management software. You'll want something that will help you reach new customers, handle booking/scheduling, manage client information, track your business' performance, etc.

I am looking at starting a cleaning company aimed at small business premises cleaning them on a regular basis. I am currently full time employed but I really want to try to start my own business.
I feel between me and my wife we have the brains and the work ethic to make it work. 1/ How much roughly will it cost to start up? 2/what will I need? 3/I would like a start up loan as I am not to well off and I know there's companys out there that offer this service. Anyone have any experience?
