I noticed that a lot of vegans support mining, weather or not they realize this I do not know. but ive met people who say they are vegan yet they drive a car and have a cell phone. A car is made of metal which is mined out of the ground and a cell phone has metal components. Last I checked vegans are against anything harmful to animals, and mining destroys animal habitats. are they not aware of this?

You have been so indoctrinated in a authoritarian political correctness that you don't even realize that there are no rules for vegans. Vegans are free agents to do as they please. They don't have membership cards and strict rules that they must follow.

I can't speak for every vegan, but yes, I am aware of this! I'm tempted to say that it's impossible to be a pure, 100% vegan in the world we live in though. For me being vegan is just the constant effort of trying to help animals out. Even if it's small. I do care very much for animals though. They are my equals!

We're not LUDDITES, we just want to live in society and do as little harm as reasonably possible. Attempting to participate in society and not use anything metallic or plastic is not reasonable.

Why are other people always trying to point out ways that vegans are harmful and imperfect without addressing the ways that they themselves do harm? I don't go around, pointing out how people aren't perfect. I keep that to myself.

Do you live in a house? an animal was dislocated to build that house!

Do you buy your veggies in a market? animals were moved so that market can exist!

Do you even eat veggies? animals were kept from the fields where your food was grown, sometimes even by being killed!

Vegans don't care about animals. They just care about "feeling superior" to those around them.

Vegans are not perfect. Nor do we pretend to be. We have beliefs but everything has a limit.We still want a life,we have to be able to move!!
