I work in customer service at one of the largest grocery store chains in the country. We do things like Western Union, money orders, etc. along with returns and things like that. We take care of things like this all the time. If you can't go to your bank/don't have one, check out the customer service desk at a few local grocery stores and see if you can't get it done there.
