Depends on location so if you were to sell say 20 drinks a day at $1 and buy at .50 you would have $10 to pay for repairs, maint and electricity and any rent of the location and profit. Remember you will need to own a truck to haul it in to repair or change locations and the skill to repair. Most own thousands of machines so have a scrap yard of spare parts and a fleet of mechanics to go collect the coins and fill the machine and make minor repairs. They will get the best locations since they give good reliable service.
Where you place the machine will make a big difference.
A well trafficked area will make more money.
The cost of supplies, labor and insurance must be added to this mix.
Will you need to pay a fee to the owner of the floor space to put your soda machine on top of the floor.
Does this "Landlord" require anything else that would cost you money?
What is your "competition" like? Juice, coffee, food, candy bar, chips in surrounding machines?
A person who wants to snack or have a drink from the "machines" only has so much money to spend, and of course you want him to use your machine.
