I am at a breaking point. What should I do?
well, I see that you have internet service, or at least transportation to the library where you got free internet, and that someone is paying for your antidepressants, and each of us has parents, relatives and friends, and most have a place where they worship. So you have a few things going for you. When you say "no work permit" that either means you're somewhere illegally, you came for vacation and can't get back home, or the stork or a drone just dropped you off.
There are such things anywhere in the world called "barter" and that's that you work for food/shelter but without cash. The problem is that you need to make contact with the people who need your help. So you might go in person and apply for assistance at the local church/temple where you worship and ask for referrals, ask for food assistance as well there.
Your debts and past rent will have to wait maybe 9 months or so until you get on your feet. As soon as you can find someplace where you can get your mail and a phone you can use (and use that number). Question is, why have your parents and friends abandoned you? If they were in another country they could send you money via Western Union, or they might have contacts in the country where you are and can refer you to stay with them for a while.
Nothing you can do and most of us are in the same situation except I work and still have no money. If you have no work permit does that mean you should not be in whatever country you are in and if so go to the police and they will put you up in a detention centre and feed you, Good Luck
"have the right to live here, just don't have the right to work" then how are you going to survive and earn a living?
Seem like its not working out for you so maybe its time for you to go back home. Consider moving back to your home country or go make your situation better. Everything seem impossible until it is done..
Get a job? Nobody needs a "permit" to work in the US. If you're not in the US, well, time to move.
