That is the problem with committing a crime such as tax evasion....it makes it very difficult to prove you have income.
Is your ACTUAL income (including the part you are hiding) $400/week or is that what is on your pay stub? What is your credit score? How much other debt do you have? How much rent do you pay? How much cash do you have?

Nope. You thought you were being smart breaking the law and not claiming lal of your tips. Now it's coming back to bite you.
Banks want proof of income. If you don't claim your tips, you have no proof, not to mention you could be in trouble at tax time.
Not without a huge down payment and a large interest rate.
Just pay cash for cars.
