Have you considered renting a Post Office Box or mailbox? The United States Postal Service (USPS) will provide rental of a Post Office Box to a minor (a person under eighteen years of age) unless the minor’s parent or guardian submits a written objection to the appropriate postmaster or Postal Manager. The purpose of the identification required to rent a Post Office Box number is to confirm that you are who you are claiming to be, and not for confirmation of the individuals age.

After you decide on the size box you want, just go to the local Post Office branch where you want to receive your mail and inquire about renting a box. Suggest renting just a small box (size 1 or 2) because the Post Office branch will place in the box, along with the smaller mail pieces, a key to a locker or a note for counter pickup, when larger packages are received. This is normal mail handling for a customer, and USPS does not charge extra for the action.
Since 2012, USPS has allowed holders of a Post Office Box to use the physical location of the Post Office branch as the mailing street address, and your USPS box number as a unique unit. Inquire at the branch where you want to rent a box for further information on this option. Using the street address option would allow for delivery for other carriers to the Post Office address.

You can also find private mail boxes for rent at a Mail Boxes Etc. location or a UPS Store location. The actual store location will give you a physical address, allowing UPS and FedEx to make deliveries to a street address location. USPS will also be able to make mail deliveries to this address.
