I mean, I know how to build things. what do you think of this? By the way, I finished high school if it helps.
The short answer: Yes.
But, from reading the rest of your question, I would say you are just asking to get yourself into a WHOLE LOT of legal and financial trouble.
No experience? Really? And you want to start contracting work? Finishing high school means nothing here. I quit school at 16 and went to work for my first roofing company at 18.
Besides insurance if you get hurt, what happens if your "no experience" roofing job leaks for any number of reasons, the water damage destroys the customer's house and you get sued for everything you and your next two generations own? If I had a nickel for everytime I had to go back and fix something that some hack tried to do I'd be a rich man.
Start out working for somebody else and learn the trade, what's really going on in the construction industry the technology that's out there and something about business in general.
You would not make a living just plugging holes in roofs, you would probably have to setup a roofing business with the right equipment, employing others to help improve your income.
To keep it small you would probably have to offer a variety of handyman services in order to find enough small jobs,
