Can we still use the $100 bill from 1928?

A bill that old might be worth more than $100 to a collector. If you tried to spend it, people might suspect that it's counterfeit. It looks different from today's bills and doesn't have multicolored ink, watermarks or microprinting.

It has a $100 value, but may depending on it's condition be worth more money.

I don't see why not, although any business would have the right to not accept it, if the employee suspects it's fake, which is a possibility. But why would you want to just spend it? It is worth quite a bit more than its face value now.

You should eBay it for more money
