Now I can no longer go to prom for several reasons and I need to sell my dress at the original price or my parents will be furious
It is from a bridal/prom store which like most does not accept returns
Obviously it's never been worn, altered in size and has been kept in its dress bag untouched.
What would be the best way in going about selling it for its original price?
The easiest way would be to sell it to someone at school. Maybe ask your friends to help you get the word out on their social media. Otherwise, try ebay or craigslist. Don't mention that you are asking full retail price, people want to think they are getting a bargain.
If you need the money fast, you can take it to a consignment shop, but you will only get a fraction of what you paid for it. You may have to make up the difference to your parents some other way.
Ummm...why the IFF would someone buy your USED dress for FULL price?
Never worn...prove it.....I as a private party go to a shop where I can try plenty of cclothes before I buy..not just one item
I'd be surprised if you get 1/3 of what you payed..but good luuck
It is still classed as second hand, so I doubt if you will get the full price.
Advertise it on ebay.
