Hello, I recently bid on a storage unit at an auction. I won the bid and bought the unit for $280. Inside this unit I found cash and 8 blank money orders purchased in 2006-2007 all the money orders have receipts still attached to them. I would like to know how I can go about cashing them in. The back of the money order says they dont expire. I called the company to confim but I was told because they are so old no info was pulling up for them. Any advice on what I should do? Has anyone ever cashed one in thats this old?

Go to your bank and cash them.

I find it pretty crazy that someone had money orders in the storage unit which could have paid for the rental of such a unit.

You have nothing to lose by trying to cash them.

Take them to your bank.
