If lost in a supermarket ask a grownup where the registers are and go wait there so you can see your mommy or daddy checking out. If at a festival they will have security who will take you until your parents come for you. When you are past age 10 or so your parents will want you to have a prepaid phone so you can call for pick up after activities. They can get parental controls so you can only call selected numbers. They still might not you to want one to keep you save but you could talk them into it if they could handle parental controls.
Go to Straight Talk at Walmart and buy a phone. You realize you have to pay $30 per month for talking and messaging, no internet, right?
iphone 5c? Its free on 2 year contract. You can also get ipod touch so no monthly cost, granted you cant make calls but many places have wifi so you can still message people or use apps etc
if you are still at the age that you get LOST, you are not responsible and you are NOT ready for a phone. Those are bad arguments.
