Salvation Army is a good start, but there are also many charities (women's shelter, etc.) that have resale shops to raise funds. A donation there will get them product to sell and a tax deduction receipt for you.

Thanks. I live in a rural community where there are not many people seeking office jobs. We're more the Carhartt, Duluth Trading, Dickies crowd. None of those around groups here want to deal with my type of clothing

I'm sure many churches and job assistance places accept suits to give to unemployed people for interviews, etc. Try calling up your local church, job center, of homeless shelter.

salvation army, goodwill, local church charities all will give you a tax donation receipt
