This is definately a scam. I don't know if they are actually sending stolen goods or not but I know they do not pay you. If you were paid how did you receive it? Was it deposited directly into your account? Or was it sent as a money order? I was paid with a money order my first commission. Never received my second commission. And on the day I was to receive my salary the telephone number was no longer in service. I did research and found out that the number was a Skype number. The website flyagent.us is registered with Godaddy to some guy who lives in Florida. You have to search on google europe to find that info. You can't be prosecuted because you have docomentation that you were employed by a company. Any lawyer could get you off that.
Yes they are a scam. Sadly the authorities do not care...for some reason they are letting it continue. After investigating this company online i contacted the FBI online tip site and still 3 months later they have not called me and people are still being approached by this immoral entity. If you have given them your information for payroll...monitor your credit report because it is only a matter of time before you find out you have outstanding credit card debt in your name. They appear to be buying merchandise with stolen credit cards they have aquired and use you as the patsy to get the merchandise out of country. You may receive a few payments while you still are a value to them but it is bad money that is being stolen from people just like you...not to mention a year down the road when a credit card company learns of this scam they will investigate and be knocking at your door. Funny and sad thing is that the Government is doing nothing about this matter and has just dismissed it for the citizens and corporations to eventually figure it out...they had knowledge of 9-11 and did nothing so its no suprise this smaller evil goes unabated. These people robbing strangers and using people like you need to see the error of their ways...this type of thing destroys peoples credit not to mention faith in trusting anything. As far as the FBI not protecting people from known threats...shame on you.
I had started with this company two weeks ago but I am sure that they are a scam and that I was doing a wrong job. They don't care bout your life
You should stop and send every package that you have back.
You are helping them steal people identity and stealing there money
What goes around will come around
You should check out the addresses that you are ahipping the package out to and see what the company rating and comment
And you will see the truth
YES IT IS A SCAM. I gave them my information too. I found out it was a scam. You will also get bills from FedEx and Ups for the shipping because the labels are fake too. Don't get caught up like I did. Filed a complaint with AG who also says if they trace it back to you and you haven't sent the stuff back to the companies that it came from you could go to jail...
anonymous - I'm glad i read reviews before I think of jumping into anything. they just caled me and sent me an email for possible employment. I thought something was fishy when they asked that I fax over a copy of my drivers license... not even staffing agencies do that!!!
i will tell them I am in NJ so I can stop by and check out their facility (alleged)
I started working for them and I provided all my personal info. I was sent a W4 and direct deposit form. I was told to send a utility bill to verify my address. I was paid my commission last week. Is this really a scam.
Yes it is.
Their address is "supposedly" 3101 50 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT 06106. This is what the message looks like in my inbox

You'd know if they were a scam or not if you had been to their office. I cannot find a listing for a company by that name anywhere. It would help if you listed their address
They don't have a listed phone number with directory assistance and what shipping company doesn't have a listed phone number
This sounds like a possible reshipping scam where you are receiving and sending items bought with stolen credit cards and hacked PayPal accounts. When the person whose account was hacked reports the theft, the police arrest you as the items were shipped to you. If this is what's happening, you will be arrested for fencing stolen goods. This is why you need to research to ensure they are legit before you send any
The address you give does not exist in Hartford. There is a 50 Columbus Blvd in Hartford (there is no 3101 Columbus Blvd) which belongs to a company called Vistech http://www.yelp.com/biz/visual-technologies-inc-hartford and the operator who answered their main number said she knew of no shipping company on the premises as their company occupies the 3rd and 4th floors and the 2nd and 5th floors are currently vacant and available for rent
If you want more proof, tell the company you are in NY this week and will come up to Hartford to visit the office, meet the staff and give HR the documents they need. A legitimate company would always want to meet you at their office and would set up an appointment
Edit - the Connecticut Secretary of States office has no record of any business by that name registered to operate in Hartford or elsewhere in Connecticut on their website http://www.concord-sots.ct.gov/CONCORD/online?sn=PublicInquiry&eid=9740
All LLCs are registered with the state, they cannot use the term LLC in their name without being registered. So you need to call the Secretary of State's office directly and have them research the company for you before you send anything. If they are an LLC then they must be registered or they cannot operate. Maybe the website is not up to date which is why you need to speak with someone at the Secretary of State's office and they can verify if the company is legitimate or not. That is the first place to check before you do anything else. so call them and ask them to verify if the company is legit or not before you send info. If the Secretary of State verifies the company is registered, then you know it's legit
***UPDATE**** there is a police report about this company http://thealternativepress.com/towns/randolph/articles/randolph-august-police-blotter-motor-vehicle-vio-3
"Aug. 20: Officer Manlio Irula took a report of an employment scam. The victim received an email with an employment offer of a part-time job paying $2300 per month from a company known as “Fly Agent LLC, Columbus Blvd. Hartford CT 06106. The job offer consisted of receiving merchandise in packages at her home. She then had to open the packages, take a picture of the items and send the picture via email to “Ernest”. He would then send her a FedEx shipping label or a USPS shipping label with the name and address of the person who would receive the package she shipped. After several package deliveries, the victim realized that the job was a scam."
My brother has been working for this company for quite a time. He found a better offer recently. But he never had any complaint of payment delays or whatever.
