I needed a job over fall, and I found two, two great job offers. The problem is they both have their merits, and they both have their issues.
Job 1: It's at Starbucks. It pays 7.50 per hour. It has benefits, a free drink at work, and a lb of coffee or box of tea per week. I get a raise every 6 months. I can get this job next week.
Job 2: Outdoors store: It pays 9.00/hour. The problem is that It's seasonal, however they're hinting at that I might be able to work after the season is over; there's no guarantee of that though. Job 2 is a little nicer, and I like the environment a little more to my liking.
Both jobs will give me the same amount of hours. I'm not sure which one to pick. I need to figure it out by next week.
Te Starbucks benefits are great, some of the best in the retail industry, many people stay there as long as they are able, you might consider if you would miss something if you ended trapped at a gig too good to leave.

Job 1 - no worry about there not being hours after the holiday season is over, promise of pay rises and good benefits.
It's not 100% that you'll find a job after you're contract at the Outdoor shop ends.
Take the outdoor job then after the season go to Starbucks. The reason is higher pay and you will learn more so may work in other outdoor stores in the future.
I would say go for a job you would hate less! (not saying love the most, cause i dont think its your passion working at Starbucks...) Talking about benefits, Starbucks does it best in the list.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
However you shouldnt stick with one job and go further.
Go for starbucks for a while, till you find yourself the best, but careful! Dont get traped in whole your life in the same place...
Cheers and good luck!
I have heard that Starbucks are great to work for.
Starbucks. more promising.
