You don't need a reason, how you quit is more important to an employer than why you quit. That said, the way to quit is to give your manager two weeks written notice, say thank you for the opportunity to work there, and work those two weeks so you'll be leaving on the best terms possible. Fast food is a revolving door for workers. Dont feel bad . this happens all the time. Just give some notice if you can. LEt them know you need to quit effective xx date for personal reasons. thats all you need to say.

If you want to leave on good terms with you're employer give them 2 weeks notice, that's the legal way to do it. But, telling you're boss at the end of your shift is fine too.
