"Free Shipping" does not make sense. It would cost several hundred dollars for them to arrange for an auto carrier to pick it up from their location and deliver it to you. So that is a big red flag if they are in fact offering that. I purchased a motorcycle some years ago on eBay Motors and it was about $400 to ship from GA to TX.
Check the seller's feedback. If none or bad feedback, find another deal. Otherwise, you should be just fine but I am leery of that free shipping comment.
You have some protection thru PayPal. The most likely complaint is that the car is not exactly what was advertised. You have some rights to cancel the sale if the seller misled you. Pay for the gas to go check out any future purchases. No matter how far.
No one will ship a car on Ebay for no charge. Are you talking about Ebay or Craigslist? I would go to Ebay Motors Classified only which reaches 100-200 miles of your home and do the transaction in person and in cash. That is not an auction, it is Ebay classified for cars and trucks. I sold a truck that way.
have you seen what are buying i presume its a car
you MUST see the car you are buying and try to take mechanic with you so they can inspect the car never ever buy a car unseen
yes you can get scammed if you don't what i suggested
