I think you pay them for helping getting your name and products out there.. you can get your stuff out there for people to see/buy on your own by listing on many sites like etsy, ebay and yorbin
get away from Etsy; it eats your time and brings no profits.
Etsy does not care..........they get a small % of lots of poor people's $
