without this non profit status, what you are doing is asking people for stuff you can give to other people who need it, there is no way to give them any kind of statement of their gift to use as a charitable donation
if you manage to get money, it would be income to you
My friend and I want to start a school club that benefits a charity such as oxfam or another organization, but we don't know how to run it. What are some fundraisers or ways to make money for this club? We don't know what to give or anything, but there is a club at my school already that gives pajamas to homeless shelters, and we want to have a catch like that club does. Any ideas would be appreciated.
