Suspicious about EBay buyer...?

Play the game. Wait until they show their true colors before reporting them. While there is a good chance it's a scammer there is also a chance it is just a newbie looking to buy a phone and has no idea how eBay even works. I see people like that come here all the time asking what they are suppose to do next.

Once if becomes clear they are scammers report them. Go though the process to get your fees back. But if it turns out they aren't scammers and you provide a bad experience for them then you've chased away a customer.

Of course he hasn't paid - he's asked for an invoice. Many new people on ebay do that because they don't know the ropes.

Just make sure you check your Paypal account has definitely got the money before you send it - and use a tracked/signed for service.

It is too soon to say whether he will pay or not. Give him 4 days, then file Unpaid Item case. However, buyers are not obligated to pay immediately, and Ebay wll not restrict trade by letting you choose who you want to sell to, I know, I asked this. You can indicate seller prefs on buyers with negative feedback. You can always cancel the transaction and hope for a better buyer if this guy doesnt come through. Just DO NOT ship until the payment has cleared in your Paypal account.

I'd say just wait for payment. It's totally something my dad would do. He doesn't have an eBay account...if someone told him he could get something on ebay, he'd sign up as he makes the purchase.

You file a case that item has been damaged and is no longer available. This will allow you to get your final value fee in about one week time. You may still get a negative feedback from the buyer though....

Next time you list it make sure buyer's requirements are correctly entered (only people with certain number of feedback can buy it and only from the country you ship to - UK)

Everyone starts out on ebay with Zero feedback. You did, i did ~ now i have over 2000 feedbacks, every one a positive.

they have to pay with Paypal or credit card so you are protected - I would still wait a few days after payment before shipping to make sure the there are no issues with the payment

You'd be better off contacting eBay on this.

Liar he is

So I listed my iPhone on eBay yestoday (9th October) and today i get a notifications that someone has bought it on buy it now

However when I go on his profile it says he joint eBay on the 09 10 14! And he has 0 feedback

He hasn't even sent a payment yet it says "total payment requested" which means I must send an invoice

But I think this is a fake account or scam

What do I do? How do I withdraw the selling of my iPhone without any extra charges ?

Thanks
