Skyrim: is Dawnguard worth the money?

I have hearthfire and was thinking about getting Dawnguard. Opinions?

I liked Dragonborn DLC better than Dawnguard DLC, personally, but liked them both better than Hearthfire. Hearthfire basically adds houses and families. Dawnguard, like Dragonborn, adds a whole new storyline, lots of new artifacts, characters, followers and locations. I think it's worth getting, but not unless you're ready to play it now. Soon as it's installed, you'll start having vampires attacking random cities, and lots of named NPCs can get killed. The attacks only stop if you progress down the Dawnguard questline. Is it worth the money? I thought so. There's as much content in Dawnguard as some entire video games, especially if you do all the side quests and go through it twice (once on the Dawnguard side and once on the Vampire side).

If you like the vampire theme, then definitely get Dawnguard. The storyline and quests of Dawnguard are centred around vampires.

Dawnguard gives quite a bit of extra gametime so it is probably worth maybe half to 3/4 the original price. Personally, I wouldn't pay full price now though, as old as Dawnguard is. But you might feel it was worth the full price (which is 20 dollars US).

well it really depends on how much you play skyrim. if you have passed it already, go for it. It adds a lot more quests and it is super fun. if you just got skyrim, play it for a while because it takes 300+ hours to really really finish the whole game, then if you still want more, get the dawnguard dlc

dawnguard is fun and full of adventure recomend getting it
