Selling one thing but two people want it?

Give it to the person who asked first. It's only fair. At garage sales and even regular stores whoever gets to it first buys it. It wouldn't be right to give it to the person who asked second.

you say " I am selling" so however you put it out there like word of mouth or an ad - one of the two contacted you first in good faith. You should sell to them if they are offering a price you are happy with. If that does not work you can try the other person. You can tell the first person if they do not offer a fair price that you have other interested parties which is true. Not fair to the first person if you dont let them make an offer - the early bird gets the worm.

Ask them to offer you a fair price... who ever is willing to pay more gets the PS3.

You have the product that both want... give them a lesson in supply and demand and make a decent profit.

Tell them who ever shows up with the money first gets it.

I'm selling ps3 games right now and two different people are asking to buy it but I'm not sure what to do to solve my little problem. On one hand, one person asked first, but on the other, the other person didn't get a fair chance.
