Restaurant Sign Language?

I'm an interpreter in Canada so don't know BSL...just want to say how great it is you want to do this.

Literally came across this only a few seconds ago so can't tell you anything about it, except it seem like this might suit you,

http://www.british-sign.co.uk/bsl-britis...

It offers courses for staff training so it might be just what you want.

Also maybe it depends on where you live, but your local council might offer conversation sign language course, which might be ideal, if you don't want to go along an academic route.

Well done for at least trying to better your communication with the wider population and Good luck!

I had a catering business and sometimes had deaf customers. I just gave them a paper to write things down on. There is no particular sign language for catering.

UK

I work in a restaurant and I often have deaf customers come in and try really hard to order and I feel bad because for any non-hearing impaired person my customer service is fast and friendly and I feel that I am letting my customers down by not being able to efficiently communicate with them. Does anyone know any websites or videos that I can access to help me learn basic restaurant/cafe UK sign language? Thank you
