i think you should create an online store with opencart or woocommerce and just promote it using facebook and other social media. forums or news sites won't work unless they have a good traffic.

I have a website domain and the name is very good I believe. It is not specific though to a content area. I'm having a hard time deciding if I make the forum to encompass a handful of specific areas? or to make it more of a news, current events forum.

The website name is great and I will have apparel to sell that I have graphics for that look very sharp. I'm just looking for the best option to grow the site and I think a forum is best idea.
