It is legal for you to work. However, there are a lot of limitations. You can only work a limited amount of hours, you won't be able to work anywhere with kids (most places require you to be 16), you won't be able to work the kitchen of a restaurant, you won't be able to be a severe where alcohol is an option, etc. I currently work with a 14 year old but it is a lot harder to get hired before you turn 16.
