It is a very great feeling to be your own boss. Set your own hours. I recommend that you set up a website that is in blog style. It is much easier to manage and make changes when needed. That will help you identify start up costs, as well as who your competitors are
You fund it yourself, as nobody will give you funding unless you have your own money too
Suppliers is part of your homework too, once you work out what products you actually want to sell

I am looking for some basic advice on how to begin setting up my own business.
I am wanting to set up a shop/online shop selling luxury perfumes/colognes. The reason I want to do this is because my hobby over the years has been collecting luxury fragrances and I have a huge passion for them and I love the joy they can bring to people.
I don't have much experience in "real life" business, I did a GCSE in business and an A-level but I don't really feel they taught me what I really need to know to set up my own business. Over the years I have also done a bit of buying and selling but nothing major.
So what I would love some advice on is where do I start!? How to I figure out how much funding I need and where can I go for funding? Where can I find suppliers? Should I look for a partner and where? And any other advice!
Any advice would be great and I really do appreciate it! I am from the UK by the way if that helps.
