Ask these questions to yourself before meeting with Investor.
1) Who are your mentors?
2) What do you want in an investor?
3) How much money are you raising?

Being an inventor is nothing unless you know how to build it. Anyone can just think of something good.
if in ?USA , u are a few yrs for contacting any 'investors'.
u need to spend a few yrs in a library learning about the
"inventing" game and rules.
"investors" do NOT invest in ideas.
u need to have a proven model at least.
use a library cause u got lots to learn.
I am 18 and unsure how to go about the process. I want to be an inventor. I have multiple ideas for inventions boggled up in my mind, however at this point in time, thats all they are, ideas in my mind.
I have been trying to take the next step in turning my idea into a tangible product however with me being 18, I don't have access to the funds to start up a business and pay for things such as getting a business to manufacture my product, or build a website to promote it, or multiple other things to actually start turning a profit.
Since I don't have the funds myself, this is where I would require investors.
I am wondering, how do I get in touch with investors? So avoiding sites such as kickstarter and its competitors, (which I am avoiding for reasons that would make this post much longer) How do I go about taking this idea thats in my mind, and actually getting in touch with/present my idea to someone who would actually loan me money to turn this into a business?
