A bidder can enter a proxy bid that you can not see. A proxy bid is the most the person is willing to pay but it will not go higher than the current amount to take the lead unless someone else bids against them. eBay will then bid on their behalf until their max is reached each time someone tries to outbid them.

I am selling something on eBay,and would like to know how much money each bidder bids for, like how do I look and see how much money the highest bidder put on there if that makes sense.
