Good luck selling TEEs, it's a rather saturated, competitive business, there are competitors selling for less, someone here was asking about their new site with some news designs that cost them $100 to setup and was still waiting to make their first sale.
Look into marketplace sites like Amazon that help deliver prospects, it's a long haul to get traffic to a new store site.
There are many print on demand sites like Zazzle.com, customink.com and cafepress.com where you can setup a store and upload designs without spending any money, I hear there are not great sales but it's one way to test the waters (some of these sites have Millions of catalog pages)
One other approach if your are best at marketing but have 1 good original design is the crowd funded style site TeeSpring.com where you can offer a limited edition design with a quota of 20 or more pieces with no up front cost, if the quota is not met nobody pays and the print run is canceled. The key there is targeting a very specific demographic group like Pitbull or Gun lovers on Facebook pages or using facebook paid ad demographics.
Here's an independent site erporting past TeeSpring campaigns

You can test the design submission and volume/pricing options at Teespring without signing up.
I'm going to start selling customized T-shirts.
However, I'm confused on how to expand my income. For example...
Say I buy 10 customized T-shirts online that cost $10 each. That'd cost me $100.
I'd pay the one hundred dollars and get my customized T-shirts and sell them.
Say I sell the 10 T-shirts I bought for $20 each.
Once all the shirts were sold, I would have made $200.
My money did multiply. However, I have to buy another 10 T-shirts to sell to keep the process going. Leaving me with just $100.
And as I repeat that same process, after every sell. I'm left with $100 ...
How do I make more money?
I may be over thinking this... but I'm confused. Help?
