Sorry Taylor, but taking surveys does not pay you enough to make the time worthwhile. Usually, you have to jump through hoops to get a survey to take, many times you won't qualify for a survey, and almost all the time, you are looking at earning pennies when you take the survey - most people end up making $15 - $25 over the course of a couple of months before realizing it just isn't worth the time. Also, many survey sites are scams - they ask for money upfront and then you do not make anything.

Unfortunately, legitimate survey sites don't pay very much. It takes 6-12 months to earn even $25.

Also, people have to qualify for surveys based on their occupation, income and living situation. As such, you wouldn't qualify for many surveys at all.

My name is Taylor, and I am 13 years old. Lately my family hasn't been doing so well with money. I haven't been able to go out with friends as much, go shopping, or even go places due to gas costing too much for my parents to drive me. I would like to get a job, so that when my parents do take me places I can help them out with the gas money, or so that I don't have to ask them for money when I want to shop with my friends, also since I can get my permit when I'm 16 and saving up for a reliable car takes time, I would like to start saving money for a car. As you probably know, finding work at 13 is a hard thing to do. No one really hires at 13 and I wouldn't be able to handle babysitting or tutoring or mowing lawns ( I've never even used a lawn mower. So, my only option left seems to be getting paid for taking online surveys. Seem easy enough, but I would like to be informed on how it works and what goes on.
