Ebay end auction action early fee $100 help?

If the auction ended with a winning bidder, you have to cancel the transaction and the winning bidder has to agree to the cancellation. If the auction did not end due to time, when you ended it early - you had to cancel the bids - eBay warns you very clearly that you need to cancel all bids and they do it for you when you select "cancel bids".

If you did not cancel bids, you created a problem that needs personal assistance from eBay. Call customer service during weekday business hours and tell them what happened. Be prepared to have a police report as proof of the theft.

eBay US based customer service really is real - they are there to help you. The link is on the bottom of nearly all eBay pages. You click "contact us", make some basic selections to go to the right department, then you are given the phone number and an access code that speeds up the call routing.

Do it first thing in the morning.

You pay the fees to ebay. If you have home insurance or renter's insurance, you can make a claim and try to collect from the insurer for the value of your stolen items. You have the pictures from your ebay listing and the bids will give you pretty good evidence of their worth. You should file a police report regarding the burglary.

Nothing. You owe the listing fees to Ebay. It is not Ebay's problem that you dont have the items.

Pay your fees.

File an insurance claim.

Ok I was selling some comic books on ebay and bids went to $1k. Last night someone broke in my place and took my box of comics, my phone, and a few other things. Now that I don't have my comics and may never get them back, I was force to end my ebay auction and now ebay is charging me $100 in fees. What can I do about this.
