If a building is crumbling down and people are leaving in droves... why would you want to walk in?
eBay is doing it's best to make life miserable for it's sellers, even the long term excellent performing ones. All they want is corporate America and China selling there. eBay loves China sellers. eBay caters to them.
Now do you really want to waste your time there when some China seller can undercut you, and get nearly free shipping due to government subsidy to the buyer when the cheapest you can ship your iPhone cases is $1.93?
